Saturday, 13th December 2025&Բ;– International School Brunei (ISB) has won Specialist Provision School of the Year in the Tes Awards for International Schools.

This award recognises the highly effective specialist provision delivered at ISB’s Centre for Inclusive Learning (CIL) at Panaga, Kuala Belait.

According to the judges, “This pioneering centre sets a new standard for specialist provision by building a system around the child rather than forcing the child into the system. Its transparent approach, authentic parental support, and unwavering commitment to learners with complex needs make this a bold and transformative model of inclusion.”

The Tes Awards for International Schools celebrate exceptional schools and educators worldwide who are transforming the lives of children and young people through inspirational teaching, leadership, and innovation. Now in their second year, the Awards recognise outstanding international schools outside the UK that deliver British or international curricula.

Building on the success of the long-running Tes Schools Awards in the UK, often described as the “Oscars of education”, these awards shine a spotlight on excellence across the international schools sector.

An independent panel of expert judges selected 13 winners from a diverse shortlist representing schools from every continent. Entries to the 2025 awards doubled compared with last year, reflecting the ambition and commitment to innovation of international education.
